The “Helping Heroes” program in North America is an initiative launched in 2020 in response to the Covid-19 crisis and to support healthcare institutions as well as the independent retailers and their employees, who have continuously supported us.
We implemented this e-commerce platform for the United States and Canada, initially to enable our retail partners to work from home, while shifting the responsibility of product availability, shipments, and other logistics to our team.
We encouraged you (and still do) to select a retailer to support during the check-out process so that your purchase may be credited to them. In addition, a donation program was introduced in April 2020 to encourage watch enthusiasts to support local communities during these difficult times by making a tax-free donation to help healthcare heroes.
As part of this initiative, clients who made a tax-free donation to a pre-approved local hospital or nonprofit organization of their choice received a credit for the donation amount toward the purchase of a Parmigiani Fleurier timepiece up to the full value of a timepiece.
We are proud to announce that, together, we raised over $250,000 USD in only two weeks to support our healthcare heroes from coast to coast. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated.
