During these incredibly challenging and unprecedented times, we, at Parmigiani Fleurier, would like to do our part to help those on the front line of the fight against COVID-19 and those suffering the effects of the economic fallout incurred in its wake.
With this in mind we announced our “Helping Heroes” program in North America, an initiative designed to support the healthcare institutions fighting the virus across the country, as well as the independent retailers who have continuously supported us.
We implemented this e-commerce platform for the United States and Canada. We are convinced that independent retail partners are critical to the watch industry and one of our greatest assets. This part of the program enables them to work from home, while shifting the responsibility of product availability, shipments and other logistics to our team.
During the check-out process, we encourage you to select a retailer to support so that your purchase may be credited to them. Otherwise the sale reverts to the retailer closest to your delivery location.
In addition, during the month of April, we encouraged you, our watch family, to support your local communities during these difficult times by making a tax-free donation to help our healthcare heroes. As a thank you, Parmigiani in return applied your donation amount as a credit toward the purchase of one of our watches. If you donated the full retail price of a piece, your selection was put on hold for 24 hours until a receipt/proof of donation was provided to the retailer. If a smaller amount, your credit was valid for six months. We are proud to announce that, together, we raised over $250,000 USD in only two weeks to support our healthcare heroes. We couldn’t have done it without you.
